There are only five regular rounds to go in the Betfred Championship, but there're still plenty of twists and turns taking place in the second tier.
Bradford and Featherstone have huge home games in Round 22, hosting Dewsbury and Barrow respectively. Both are in form and chasing down second place. The Bulls have won their last five home meetings against the Rams, while Fev will be looking to make it five wins on the spin.
There’s also a standout tie between Toulouse and Sheffield, as 2nd v 3rd go head-to-head at Stade Ernest Wallon on Saturday.
The French side will be desperate to avoid a third straight defeat, but a win for the Eagles would see the visitors overtake their opponents into second spot.
Although Toulouse have won their last six home meetings against Sheffield, they fell short against the Eagles back in Round 1. Could Toulouse be in trouble as the teams around them continue to apply the pressure?
Wakefield, who secured the League Leaders’ Shield last Sunday, will travel to face Swinton at Heywood Road. It’s going to be a tough test for the Lions, who find themselves in 13th place and embroiled in the relegation battle.
Then, Whitehaven are in action at home to York, and Widnes take on Batley. For York and Batley, they find themselves within touching distance of a Play-Off place. The Vikings are also another side in the mix for contesting for second.
Finally, there’s another huge clash between Doncaster and Halifax – a win for the Dons would put them back in the Play-Off race, whereas a win for ‘Fax would take them one point with Doncaster.
It’s all to play for with five rounds remaining, but what will the table look like following Round 22?
